As a DJ I like to keep eyes and ears open, to challenge myself and, depending on the scenario, to test the dancers too. While most of the music I play is from the Golden Age of Tango, I also enjoy playing pieces from late 1920’s right up to the present day, depending on the audience and venue. As a DJ I’m dancing with the audience, being a part of the milonga and the dance floor.

As a DJ I like to keep eyes and ears open, to challenge myself and, depending on the scenario, to test the dancers too. While most of the music I play is from the Golden Age of Tango, I also enjoy playing pieces from late 1920’s right up to the present day, depending on the audience and venue. As a DJ I’m dancing with the audience, being a part of the milonga and the dance floor.

I started tango in Finland over 20 years ago. It was love from the first moment – complexity, music, lyrics, challenge of learning, and expressing oneself. We were lucky to have a tango orchestra in the town, which played live every month at a milonga.
After talking to the musicians and starting to teach myself a deeper and deeper interest in the music evolved. My desire to be moved by the music has continued to grow and has become an integral part of my teaching.

I organized and ran my own milonga in Munich for 7 years, as well as being a guest DJ at a number of other milongas in Munich. I have also been a DJ in the Netherlands (Summerdaze in Nijmegen), Belgium (Totally In Tango) and Finland (Tampere and Helsinki). For the past four years I’ve been running a milonga in the Costa Tropical, Spain, as well as been a guest DJ in milonga Che Buenos Aires (Jun / Granada).
