Lene Oskaria Stengaard

Lene Oskaria is a coveted and appreciated tango DJ in European marathons and milongas. She has a sparkling energy and sensitivity to atmospheres and social interaction – combined with her selection of traditional tangos, her DJing will spread sweetness, harmony, joy and dedication at the milonga.

Lene Oskarias DJ-resident is Piso Clásico in Copenhagen and she is one of the organizers of The Wonderful Copenhagen Tango Marathon.

“To me tango is a language we speak with the body and the mind. The dance is a conversation, – a conversation among the dancers. The music is the topic for the conversation. The music is what you investigate and interpret together when you dance. As a DJ my job is to choose the right topic for the dancers and make them talk about it in their language. I have to  inspire and to awake the desire to dance.”
