Paul Akmajian

Paul Akmajian (Albuquerque, NM) has been dancing tango for over 16 years and DJing and teaching for the last 10. In addition to local group and private classes he has taught recently with Isabella Szymonowicz (Toronto) at the 2013 Albuquerque Tango Festival. Paul has been a steady DJ in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Tucson for more than 10 years and in the last 7 years he has DJ'd at many major festivals around the country from Portland to Baltimore and many places in between. As a DJ, Paul strives to keep everyone energized and dancing long into the night by playing the best, most familiar, time-tested and dancer-approved music from the Golden Age of Tango.
