DJ Oliver Kruse-Dougherty

Oliver began DJing tango in the early 90s at club DemoZ in Ludwigsburg, in southern Germany. Starting in the late 90s, he broadcast his own Radio Tango show from Aachen, and later continued the broadcast for 8 more years from Gouda, until 2022.

Oliver was one of the house DJs at the legendary Sweet Milonga in Gouda for 9 years. He has also DJed in Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and he had the great honour of being a member of the DJ team at the unique Remolino Tango Festival in Lviv, Ukraine, at the beginning of 2020.

Oliver's DJ sets are dynamic and lyrical. He plays traditional music from the Golden Age of tango, drawing from the full range of styles and nuances, beginning with Guardia Vieja, through the powerfully orchestrated works of the 1950s.
