 Dj Antti Suniala, at 36 years of age, has almost two decades of experience as a professional DJ and a circus artist. For the tango world he is best known for his weekly tango blog “Tanda of the Week”. He deejays regularly around Europe and has played in milongas and festivals around the world including Buenos Aires, Rome, Moscow, Vienna, Kiev, Singapore, Barcelona and Tokyo.

Antti Suniala began as a hip hop/soul/funk DJ in 1995, collecting vinyl records and perfecting his mixing skills. Since 2000 he has worked as a world class fire circus artist performing and teaching worldwide. After being introduced to the music and dancing of Tango Argentino he made his return to deejaying – this time as a Tango DJ in 2009/2010 playing his first full milonga set in Buenos Aires.

 His selection of music celebrates the virtuoso orchestras, the greatest singers and the true passion of tango. The music is catered to the dancers, encouraging them to express their emotions and musicality through the dance. You can expect to hear some of the most danceable traditional tango, music from the 1930s to the late 1950s and especially Troilo, Di Sarli, D'Arienzo, Pugliese, Caló, Laurenz and Biagi.

Antti Suniala has the privilige to work as an ambassador DJ for the TangoVia Buenos Aires organization and the Tango Digital Archive, promoting their work in saving every tango ever recorded and playing some true masterpieces in the highest quality from their unique collection.
