We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance! -Japanese Proverb After having been dancing Tango for some years, Bjørn started DJing in 2009. Having an audiophile ear, he takes special care to bring the most natural sound to the dancefloor. In his youth, Bjørn has been deejaying HipHop, Soul&Funk and House music. Especially the latter taught him to 'compose with sensations', playing sets that can build up presence and prepare for riveting highs. Taking his experience to Tango, Bjørn is very attentive to the energies of the ronda, making sure that a vibrant mixture of structure and surprise keeps the mojo moving. He thereby also puts special emphasis on cortinas, believing that they play a crucial role in the orchestration of energies. Overall, his DJ sets are marked by a careful composition of adored Tango qualities in close communication with the dancers.
