Tango is what happens between the steps

I play classical tango music, mostly from the 1930s and 1940s. My preferred pieces combine rhythm with lyrical or dramatic elements, such as 1940's D'Arienzo, Donato, Rodriguez, Biagi, Laurenz and (early) Pugliese. I use funky cortinas and stick to TTVTTM, with an alternative tanda sometimes.
