Sofia Correa Gavito, from Parque Patricios to the World.

Yo soy de Parque Patricios (for real, i'm not quoting), i was born in the bottom of a tangueros family, a barrio and the city of Tango, Buenos Aires. And i've lived almost all my life there since two years ago when i arrived in Europe. Nowadays i live in Turin, Italy and i work as musicalizadora in the most important milongas in the north of the country and abroad. During my evenings you'll listen to the best of the Golden Decade; D'Agostino-Vargas, D'Arienzo-Echague, Calo-Beron, Di Sarli-Ruffino, Tanturi-Castillo, Troilo-Fiorentino, Pugliese etc, etc, etc. I reproduce the milonga porteña exactly as it is at the Rio de la Plata and as argentinean i couldn't do differently!. As professional dancer and teacher i have a special sense for understading the general mood of the room, i've been dancing since the early age of seven. My favourite tangos as a teenager, those i used to sing are "Muñeca Brava", "Y no la erré", "Percal", "Fumar es un placer" and the instrumental "la Yumba". Mi favourites orchestras are Osvaldo Pugliese, Juan D'Arienzo and Angel D'Agostino.
