Johan Steeno has been on the dance floor since 2000 - for more than 20 years now - to passionately dance “his” Argentine tango. He is also a musician (guitar and sax), although on a low heat now. His love for music soon led him to look for traditional tango music, a whole collection in the meantime, high-quality in a professional setting. Tango dj'ing could not fail.
With great enthusiasm he lets the dancers enjoy those beautiful tango numbers. He looks forward to it over and over! In Ghent he is ‘resident’-DJ at “Polariteit vzw”, the cradle of tango in Belgium. He runs milongas in Belgium and regularly across borders, such as in Germany where he is a fixed value in tangoclub “El Corazón” in Aachen.
With the event “Tango aan ‘t Station” he put Leuven (B) on the tango map. The dancers come from everywhere to this summer open-air milonga, which he has been organizing with a team of enthusiastic volunteers for many years.
